Monitoring Georgia

by YTP on October 1, 2008

The EU has sent “monitors” to Georgia to patrol territory as a means of encouraging the Russians to withdraw from the land they have been occupying. I am not sure how effective EU monitors are going to be, but I guess we should be pleased the EU is doing something.

Michael Totten has another interview on the Georgia situation up as well. Check it out. On a side note, YTP Spouse and I send Totten money every month through Paypal. He is an independent (and truly impartial) journalist who lives solely on reader donations. You can subscribe for as little as $10 a month, and Paypal will automatically deduct it from your checking account or credit card. I highly encourage you to do this. Totten is the future of journalism, and well, just a great guy.
