Saudi Arabian Textbooks, and Taxes

by YTP on August 1, 2008

The online news world had two very interesting articles today worth pointing out, for the excellent reason that they reinforce earlier points made on this blog. What? Is there a better reason?

The first article about the improved content of Saudi Arabian textbooks is a great example of how disturbing the teachings of fundamentalist (Wahabi) Islam truly are. Disturbing here being a euphemism for “incompatible with peaceful coexistence.”

The second article is a useful reminder of just how much capitalism is not a dirty word, and why having rich people is a darn good thing.

Enjoy.
