She was the morning anchor on CNN for years. I loved her; she was one of the very few news people who did not annoy me. She was funny and intelligent and self-deprecating. And she was recently fired! Who knew? I stopped watching television news years ago, and must have missed this. She has reinvented herself as a news reporter of “all news,” including the good stuff, not just the sensational bits.
