WORTH THE WAIT

Battlestar Gallactica: Season 4, was, indeed, worth the wait. What an intriguing and action-packed season opener. Before I allowed myself the treat of seeing it, I re-watched the last two episodes of Season 3, and remembered after doing so why Lee Adama is my favorite character, right after Starbuck. Neither Starbuck or Lee would do well in real, normal life, but in crisis situations, those kind of personalities are incredibly important. That is the lesson that YTP Spouse and I took away from eight years in some interesting situations: the people you want by your side when it all falls apart are not necessarily the people you want coaching your son’s little league. The writers on BSG do an unbelievable job of playing with that dynamic. I love it.
