TEACHING HISTORY

The American History Museum, part of the National Mall and the Smithsonian, has transformed their website into an incredible teaching tool. The Smithsonian site itself is impressive, but a particular section of the American History Museum’s site caught my eye. “The Price of Freedom” Exhibit is not only beautifully done (props to the Museum’s web designers) but also meticulous in its attention to historical detail. The entries on the Indian wars, in particular, are noteworthy.
